Been a while

Hello blogger world!! It has definitely been a long time since I've updated anything on here. What can I say? I've been incredibly busy for the past days, weeks, months, busy with pretty much everything, especially with Baking. I've been baking up a storm, and I'm loving it. So for the cookies that I've previously made, and haven't made a post a bout, you can find them on my "Gallery" section.

So since it is Graduation season, and the end of the school year, why not post some pictures of some graduation cookies I've made.
Here they are, and Enjoy!!

Playing Cards

I made these cute awesome cookies for a Family friends 70th Surprise birthday. It was my mom's idea to make cards, since the birthday celebrant always plays "Tonget's" (it's a filipino card game, and I also don't know if I spelled it right).

I decided for myself to just make a bunch of Ace's, 2's and 3's cards, since they were less time consuming to decorate :)
All in all, She loved my cookies!!! Which made me very happy :D

Lightening McQueen Cake

Just over the weekend, it was my nephew's 3rd birthday party, and my sister-in-law had asked me to make a cake for him, and of course I said YES!!
Although I had no training what so ever in cake decorating (I learned what I know through the internet), I wanted to put my cake decorating to the test.

The turn out of the cake wasn't bad at all, but I knew I didn't a lot of things wrong. I'm saying this because, by the time I delivered it to my inlaws, the cake was all squished, and some of the fondant was falling off.

Well it definitely is about Trial and error. Next time I know to use cake boards under each tier, and to use dowels for support.
My next cake project will be coming up in a few week, and I'm hoping it will be better than the last.
